چکیده
The melt of V-modified A380 alloy aluminum was treated by compound field ultrasonic vibration (UV) and electromagnetic stirring (ES) around liquidus temperatures. Then the high pressure rheo-squeeze casting (HPRSC) process used to produce an ingot with obtained. results indicate that polygonal Si2V phase is precipitated after adding vanadium alloy. With increasing V content from 0 1.05%, average length volume fraction ?-Al5FeSi decreased 30 ?m 1.44%, respectively. refinement effects UV, ES, UV-ES on microstructure gravity are as follows: > UV ES. When increased 400 MPa, size primary ?-Al gradually, morphology changed acicular a fine fibrous-like one, refined particle grain diameter about 8 ?m. ultimate tensile strength (UTS), yield (YS), elongation without lower than 0.7% under same pressure. UTS, YS, T6 heat-treated HPRSC 301 182 3.3%, decrease in phase, quality index increased.

Rheo-forming is becoming the choice for production of high quality parts with diminished defects and fine integrity. In this paper, the novel self-inoculation rheo-diecasting (SIRD) process, in which semisolid slurry is produced by mixing two precursory solid and liquid alloys and subsequently pouring them through a multi-stream fluid director, has been proposed. Microstructural characteristics...

متن کاملEnhancing Wear Resistance of Squeeze Cast AC2A Aluminum Alloy
The effect of squeeze casting process parameters on wear behavior of AC2A aluminium alloy was primarily investigated in this experimental study. Five process parameters, namely squeeze pressure, pouring temperature, die temperature, die material and compression time, each at four levels were chosen and sixteen experimental runs based on L16 orthogonal array were performed. From analysis of vari...
